Dream en-suite

A big thank you to Harrison and all the team at Whytes for the amazing transformation to our small en-suite. Harrison was extremely helpful coming up with great ideas and was happy to change designs along the way. The room now looks more spacious with a lovely ambience complemented by excellent quality goods and workmanship. From ideas, advice, planning and design to the installation we received a first class service. Graeme and his team (Marcus, John, Ross & Mike) were friendly, hardworking and professional. Wet Room

Recently had the White team design, procure and install a new wet room to our home in Brechin. We are over the moon with the results, which has transformed what was formerly a basic en-suite shower room into a high spec eye catching wet room. Emergency Repair

On Saturday morning, I noticed a puddle of water coming from behind the toilet, hidden behind a sealed panel. Even though the bathroom was completed three years ago, I called Whytes for help. Harrison answered the phone and immediately reassured me that he could arrange an inspection and any necessary repairs. Right on time at 3 pm, Marcus arrived, inspected the issue, and carried out a fantastic repair. The service was prompt, professional, and incredibly reassuring. Highly recommended!

A much needed bathroom transformation

We approached Whytes in the Summer to replace our old bathroom which was really starting to show its age. Harrison visited our home to discuss options for the new design and was very friendly and easy to chat with. The team sent us through some great design visuals, and with only a couple of minor tweaks and a visit to the showroom, we had everything booked in for the install. When the work began, the guys were very professional, courteous, and it was clear they all take great pride in their work. The finished bathroom looks fantastic - very modern, stylish, and it has some lovely features that elevates it and gives it a high quality feel. We particularly like the new lighting. I recently contacted Whytes to enquire about changing my outdated bathroom to a shower room. Harrison was very good at helping me to think about the design and how the layout would work. Wonderful renovation project

We are really pleased with our new bathrooms. As part of a bigger house renovation Whytes designed and installed 2 bathrooms. One a new bathroom replacing an existing bathroom and another a brand new shower room in what had been a large cupboard including new plumbing drainage. The whole team has been brilliant. Thinking outside the box

Excellent service with an eye for detail and creativity. Transformed a tired ground flour level bathroom into a beautiful shower room. We decided we would have a curtain instead of a glass panel. In the shower. This worked really well, giving us a wet room and a more spacious bathroom. Very helpful staff, who kept in daily contact with us. High standard of work, a pleasure to work with.

Having no previous experience in bathroom design, Whytes took our ideas for our downstairs shower room and made good suggestions for the best layout. We received good recommendations for bathroom products, colour of tiles and lighting. The design therefore was well coordinated in terms of colours. We are delighted with our bathroom replacement conducted by Whytes of Monifieth. Right from the very beginning the design process was seamless and all the staff were supportive and helpful. We had several visits to the house and upon visiting the showroom we placed our final design and order. Refurbishment of our Reception Gents & Ladies toilets

As part of our ongoing office improvements we were looking to update our office toilets and we started to research and engage with local bathroom suppliers and this initially proved challenging but after finding Whytes and engaging with Harrison everything fell into place. From the initial email enquiry, to design, to works starting and works finishing, our experience of working with Whytes has been brilliant. Harrison was very responsive from our initial enquiry and is very friendly and professional and you can clearly see he enjoys what he does. The designs that were created were professional and being able to visit the showroom and see tile samples and brochures really helped bring everything to life. Working with Harrison on the design of our toilets has been brilliant from start to finish, the communication has been fantastic, from timely responses to emails and calls, to receiving regular email updates while the works were going on it really has been a great experience. Bathroom Upgrade

We are very pleased with the conversion of our bathroom from a traditional bath to a walk in Aqualisa digital shower with Kudos enclosures and a replacement panelled ceiling c/w LED downlights and extractor fan. The initial site visits by both Harrison and Graeme were very thorough and explained what the optimum solution would be and this was confirmed with the quotation outlining the components to be fitted. The Whytes team were excellent from the start, putting down plastic sheeting to prevent damage to flooring during the upgrade and clearing up at the end of each day. The evening emails from Harrison with a progress report and confirmation of the arrival time for next day were very welcome. All the workforce were very professional in their plumbing, electrical and installation skills, working with barely a break throughout, most impressive.

We’re delighted with our new shower room. Patient design iteration until we saw what we were looking for (even if we didn’t know it until we saw it!) and managing options until within budget. Another Stunning Masterpiece

We are thrilled with the work carried out to redesign our master ensuite. From design concept through to the installation it has been seamless. Communication throughout the whole project was excellent. We knew what was happening and when. The design was fresh, in tune with what we like and was very imaginative. Moving toilet and sink created more space and leaves a streamlined, uncluttered look. The selection of bathroom products was excellent. We now have a walk-in shower with control dials outside the shower area which is very convenient. The large heated towel rail keeps the bathroom cosy. I’m particularly impressed with the storage which is discreet and large enough to keep all the products we accumulate in one place. Tiles and flooring are beautiful and create warmth and brightness coupled with discreet lighting. Everyone at Whyte’s has been brilliant and we love our new shower room. From what we had to what we have now – there is simply no comparison. Totally satisfied with the refurbishment of our shower room by Whytes. The whole process from the initial design stage to the completion of the works was carried out very professionally. The workmanship was first class and we appreciated the various updates we received during the works by email and in particular the tradesmen turned up to the house whenever they were expected.

This is the third time that we have used Graeme and his team and again it has been a delight. We now have a modern shower room and a small renovated bathroom all of which we are thrilled with. Fantastic Renovations

Whytes recently undertook a renovation of our main bathroom, and a tired and poorly functioning en-suite. The transformation in both rooms is incredible. Right from the initial consultation we were extremely impressed by Graeme’s product knowledge and attention to detail, and Laura’s designs were innovative, stylish and as per the main brief. Graeme was extremely visible throughout which allowed us to discuss the progress of the renovations regularly, and gave us a great deal of reassurance. Laura was always contactable via email, and responded extremely quickly and efficiently to any queries. We were kept abreast of work schedules at all times, and appraised of any changes to plans ( this was all the more welcome due to the challenges presented by the Coronavirus lockdown, which the team managed extremely sensitively and professionally). The work was carried out with respect for our home, and to an extremely high standard. One or two unforeseen challenges arose (due to existing problems with the old plumbing) but Graeme overcame these with no delay to the work schedule or amendment to the initial quotation cost. 21st Century Shower Room

Whytes of Monifieth have recently completed the installation of a modern and contemporary shower room for us to replace a bathroom born in the 1960’s. Having waited in vain for Avocado to come back into fashion we decided to shop around for potential contractors. Following initial design meetings we decided we had to go with Whytes and have not regretted the decision. In these difficult times the work was carried out in a very professional manner both from a workmanship point of view and from the standard of correspondence between them and us as the client. New Kitchen

Graeme and his team created a new shower room for us in 2018 and at that time I asked if they did kitchens and the answer was yes! So when the time came to install a new kitchen, I had no hesitation in contacting them again. From Laura’s help with the design and her patience with continual changes and with the most amazing team I now have a new kitchen, the old kitchen was gutted and a new one built with new heating, plumbing, electrics in less than a month. We have used Graeme and his team twice in the past for bathroom refurbishments and have been delighted with the design, installation and final finish. Consequently, when we decided to upgrade our tired en-suite bathroom we invited Graeme to give us some guidance. We were not disappointed. Graeme’ knowledge of the latest bathroom and sanitary products and his showroom displays were extremely helpful and we converted to a wet room that has combined practicality with great design and appearance. A total refurbishment was needed and we were initially concerned about how much the project would cost. In the event we consider the total cost to be very reasonable and great value for money.
